Glasgow born artist Kathleen Bryceland, rediscovered her love of painting after moving to Co. Donegal in Ireland in 2000. She has been fully motivated by the beautifully scenery and landscape’s surrounding her in the northwest of Ireland, provoking her to once more pick up the paintbrush. The mountains, seascapes and ever changing seasons are a dramatic and never-ending source of subject inspiration.

Having had a love of art from an early age, Kathleen is self taught and works primarily with oil paints, finding the medium a versatile and enjoyable way to express her creativity.

Encouraged by friends and family, Kathleen in 2006 began to engross herself in producing more of her original artwork, an interpretation of the life and landscape of Ireland.

Kathleen lives in Co. Donegal with her husband and their 3 children.
